IB Economics Paper 3 Topics
IB Economics Paper 3 TopicsHere is an essay I wrote about three topics I had during my IB Economics Paper 3 topics. I encourage you to check it out if you are looking for a good analysis of those topics and solutions.'Sound Investment Decision- Avoiding risk at all costs' - The use of the term 'risk' seems to imply that every company or person is prone to this unfortunate effect. Many things that happen in our lives do not affect us personally, but these can have a large impact on other people. Some of the things that cause us risk are the lack of capital assets, human error, bad luck, or whatever. We try to avoid risk at all costs because we have been taught that in these cases, the consequences will be big.If we take the basic mathematics into account, risk is something that we are able to control and we are in control of how we handle it. There are other things that cause risk such as stock prices, bond prices, fixed income and commodity prices, and so on. But in any case, we do no t want to let these things affect our daily lives in any way.In simple terms, we want to avoid paying for something until we see how the price affects our lives. This means avoiding stocks and bonds or any kind of asset for that matter.'Good judgment is the best policy' is one of the paper's three topics. People who make poor decisions, and do not practice good judgment, often find themselves trapped in a bad situation with disastrous results. When it comes to investing, people should never base their decision on the prices of stocks. There are many other factors to consider besides the price of the stocks or bonds. The third of the essay, 'Good Judgment is the Best Policy,' suggests that people can not just blindly follow the stock market or any other investment system without considering other aspects of the situation. It also requires a change in perspective to start thinking in the way that comes from a good judgment rather than just greed.
